This past week has brought some tough losses for my family. My uncle had just bought a Genesis G70 3.5T—a car that shares the same roaring 3.3L twin-turbo V6 engine as my old Kia Stinger GT2. With fewer than 100 miles on the odometer, it was parked safely in the garage. But when the California fires swept through, the garage—and the car—were completely destroyed, melted beyond recognition. 💔 Even more significant was the loss of my late grandmother's home, which was also my grandfather's photography studio. The property had architectural and historical importance—it was the old Pasadena library, beautifully converted into a studio and family home. It was a place filled with history, creativity, and countless memories, and its loss leaves a void that can’t be replaced. These fires have taken so much from so many. While the material things are gone, the memories and stories they held remain. For everyone else impacted by these fires, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Stay safe. ❤️🙏
